Spicy Saskatoon Berry Jam

cups saskatoons

3 1/2

cups sugar

1

lemon, squeezed

1/4

cup cinnamon red hots

2

liquid certo pouches

 

Instructions

1. In a large saucepan combine saskatoons, sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon red hots.

2. Bring to a full boil and boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

3. Stir in liquid pectin.

4. Stir and skim if necessary.

5. Pour into sterilized jars and seal.

6. Store in a cool place.

Yield: 5 cups
