Glazed Saskatoon Breakfast Rolls

can refrigerated pizza dough

cup Saskatoons, finely chopped

tablespoons orange juice

tablespoons white sugar

teaspoons cornstarch


1

teaspoon orange peel, grated


1/2

cup icing sugar


1

tablespoon milk


1/2

teaspoon orange peel, grated

 

Instructions


1. Preheat oven to 375°. Coat 12 muffin cups with vegetable cooking spray.


2. In a small saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, orange juice, 1 tsp peel, and Saskatoons. Stir to dissolve corn starch.


3. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick & bubbly (3min). Set aside.


4. Unroll pizza dough on a lightly floured surface, pat into a 12X9 rectangle.


5. Spread cooled filling over dough, leaving a 1/2" border around sides.


6. Starting at long side, roll up jelly roll fashion. Pinch seam to seal.


7. Cut into 12 pieces and place cut side up in muffin pan.


8. Bake for 12- 15 minutes.


9. Glaze when cool with icing sugar, milk, and remaining peel.
